Tracy also sings with a band called Cross Current.
Here's where you can hear Cross Current:
"SONG, SATIRE AND SOLIDARITY" Cross Current's farewell performance
Friday May 7 8 pm (doors open for refreshments at 7:30)
Stevenson Theatre, 6000 S Penn Ave (at Highland)
TIckets $12/ low income $6
You've been hearing about the latest reincarnation of CROSS CURRENT, one
of Pittsburgh's long-time politically active, socially aware performance
ensembles. You saw CROSS CURRENT on the steps of PItt's student Union to
protest the trustees decision to challenge P'gh's sexual orientaion
discrimination ordinance. You heard CROSS CURRENT at the National
Lesbian and Gay Task Force's "Creating Change" annual conference. You
came out to help CROSS CURRENT support the efforts of Sheperd Wellness
Community, the Thomas Merton Center, and Aids Unity Day, and Justice
Now and PA Coalition to Counter Hate Crimes.
Our spirits are filled, but our feet are tired, and before CROSS CURRENT
disbands indefinitely, we offer up our swan song appearance in a very
special concert on MAY 7. Please join CROSS CURRENT (Ginny Hildebrand,
Rene Williams, Carol Mullen and Tony Burch) with special guest Tracy
Drach for an evening of "SONG, SATIRE, AND SOLIDARITY", (aka CROSS
CURRENT's greatest hits!).
Part of the evenings proceeds benefit the following non-profit
organizations:
Squirrel HIll NOW, Coalitiona to Counter Hate Crimes, Global Links, Pgh
CHapter of the LAbor Party, THomas Merton Center, H.E.A.R.T., and MUSIC
(Musicians United to Send Instruments to Cuba). Tickets are available
through all of the above organizations, as well as at the door.
We hope you'll join us!
